“No
doubt Henry IV would have appreciated the purple robe of Castelot, the
flavor as long as a regal procession, a royal guard of mild spices,
vanilla, ripe fruit and new leather, devilishly harmonious and lively on
the palate, with rounded tannins and a wonderfully lingering finish...
in a few words, the perfect wine for a King !”
Guy Carriere, Thuries Magazine.
The harvest: using small crates, the grapes are picked and sorted by hand by 120 grape-pickers in a great atmosphere.
